Aztec Attack: Spring 2012

pic from efashiontrends.org

The Aztec culture has taken over the world – the world of fashion! While this culture thrived in the 14th to 16th centuries, 2012 is the year of the Aztec Attack!

The Aztec people were a nomadic bunch who occupied central Mexico. Not only were they fearless warriors, kick-ass astronomers and dope architects and sculptors, the Aztecs had great style. Their women wore low cut skirts made of cotton and decorated in the Aztec trademark patterns. The men were quite flamboyant: throwing on a colourful sleeveless poncho over their loin cloths. And a hot accessory was a fancy headgear made of colourful Tropical bird feathers. We just can’t get enough of the Aztecs’ fashion flair, especially with Spring here at last!
